Blue is the new green!
An electric bus inspires an innovative approach to a traditional production facility. The factory is powered by a wind turbine, which doubles as a landmark for the building and the company. Both the building and turbine are blue, emphasising the sense of unity between them. The factory, which produces ‘Dancer’ electric buses, also opens up to the public as a museum. The production process becomes the main exposition, viewed from above along from the safety and comfort of elevated walkways that allow visual access to all areas of the factory. An inner courtyard surprises visitors and employees, providing quality public space in an industrial context.
Blue Cities combines progressive technologies with original design to create a totally new experience and bring manufacturing into the 21st century.
